No Price Increase for Cloth Diapers & Reusable Sanitary Pads

Everything got more expensive during the last couple of years. So at Bamboolik, we also had to increase our prices. Luckily, we managed to optimise our production in a way that allowed us to avoid increasing the prices of cloth diapers, reusable sanitary pads and panty liners. As for the products which were affected by the increase, it’s literally a few cents. And, until 17 March 2024, we keep the original prices in our online store. Get what you want now!

Increased Costs & Minimum Wage

Most of our production costs went up during the last year — prices for material, shipping, and even labour. Also the legal limit for minimum wage has increased. Why do we mention minimum wage? About a half of our products are made in sheltered workshops for the disabled and wages in these workshops are calculated based on the minimum wage. That of course affects the final price of our products.

But that doesn’t mean that people in our sheltered workshops work for just the minimum wages! It only serves as a base for calculating their real wages.

Prices of Cloth Diapers, Reusable Sanitary Pads and Panty Liners Stay Intact

Let’s start with the good news: Prices of cloth diapers, reusable sanitary pads & panty liners stay the same. It doesn’t mean that the production costs for these products didn’t increase. But thanks to thoughtful optimisation of our production we could keep their prices.

Only Two Products Get More Expensive

Bamboo Cloth Wipes — our eco-friendly alternative of disposable wet wipes, a must-have for everyone who is environmentally conscious. Bamboo wipes come in handy in every household, not just those with babies! The price of our sets of 5 or 10 pieces only increases by 40–90 cents.	Bamboo Baby Blanket — in dark pink or turquoise. This cuddly blanket is loved by babies of all ages! The premium fabrics we use to make our baby blankets got more expensive but the price increase is not so dramatic in the end — it goes up by only 60 cents.

The Most Subtle Price Increase: Literally Just a Few Cents

To be honest, we were quite worried as we had been watching the prices of everything go up. In the end, we believe our customers will hardly notice the price increase! It’s just a few cents and affects literally TWO products.
